As an Australian observer of the fight for the right to take the Democatic Party to the White House there appears to be an incredible battle between Obama and Clinton. But is there going to be a winner, a real winner, not just the one who gets the nod from the super delegates but one who although getting the support of all registered Democratic voters can get the vote of the swinging voter. I personally think they have spent so much time and money fighting each other they have forgotten that the man they hope to defeat, John McCain must be laughing his ass off. The longer this fight goes on between Obama and Clinton the less they look like Presidential material, they are more interested in rebuffing each others policies they seem to forget they are giving McCain a free ride to power and all he has to do his keep his mouth shut. Nobody outside the USA knows anything of his policies, we know he s a Republican and I suppose he will or may not follow the same line as Mr Bush. I personally hope not for everyones sake, however until the title fight ends between Obama and Clinton who knows. One thing is for sure he, McCain has got plenty of time to offer promises that look better than those aired by his Democratic opponents.
